Aramid tape — a durable and heat-resistant material for industrial use
Aramid tape is used in various technical applications where high strength, wear resistance, and resistance to elevated temperatures are required. It is made from aramid fibers, does not support combustion, and can withstand temperature loads and aggressive environments.
Main areas of application:
Mechanical engineering and industry
Used for reinforcing pipes, hoses, shafts, and other components subject to mechanical stress and friction.
Thermal insulation
Used for wrapping equipment, pipelines, glass tempering furnace shafts, and other units in high-temperature conditions.
Electrical engineering sector
Used as additional insulation and protective material when laying cables, especially in high-stress areas.
Composite materials
Used in aviation, shipbuilding, and other areas where lightness and structural stability are important.
Protective products
Used in protective clothing and ammunition as a reinforcing component (seams, edges, and reinforcement areas).
Advantages:
Temperature resistance (up to 300°C and above, depending on the design)
High tensile strength and wear resistance
Resistance to chemical influences
Durability in operation
The tape is available in various widths, thicknesses, and densities.
